Alvia trains are specifically designed to depart from the new lines and continue along conventional lines, in exchange for a lower top speed. This has allowed many Spanish cities that do not have high speed to benefit from a significant reduction in travel times and increase of train frequencies.
ALVIA’s have the capacity to transport between 238 and 299 passengers at speed of up to 250km / hour. They are wheelchair friendly, equipped with air conditioning and electrical sockets in the seats. In all trains you can enjoy a coffee area where you will be able to buy your snacks and some beverages. The ALVIA trains don’t have internet access, public phone availability nor services for infants and they do not allow the possibility of carrying special baggage like bikes.

Can I book a ticket 2 months in advance?
Renfe does not allow to sell tickets until 62 days before the train departure.
Will I receive the tickets on my email?
Yes, you will always receive the tickets on your email once completed the payment. You will receive a PDF ticket attached that you will have to print in order to show at the station.
Which documents do I need to travel?
Once you have finalized the purchase process through our website, we will send you a confirmation email. Attached to this email you will find the train ticket together with the Renfe confirmation code and all the information needed on regards to your reservation.
You will just have to print the ticket attachment.
